Assertiveness is the behaviour that lets others know that we mean what we say, and say what we mean. It allows us to speak and act with confidence without the fear of disapproval.

In this one day workshop, you will be able to work together as a group to develop an understanding of the principles of assertive behaviour, and learn how to apply them in practise.

Course content includes:

  • The three types of behaviour; passive, aggressive and assertive
  • Tools and techniques for assertive behaviour
  • Overcoming fear and embarrassment through discussion and group exercises
  • Increasing confidence in overcoming opposition and fear of failure
